Universal Kirtan, in the great tradition of Sufi ‘sema’ or ‘sacred sound’, brings chants, songs, poems and blessed vibes from all the world’s paths which lead to the One. We’re happy to again raise money this month for PLAN Canada which does wonderful charitable work around the world and focuses on supporting education, freedom, and empowerment of girls.
Our Kirtan is all-volunteer and every $ after costs goes to the evening’s charity. We thank our fantastic musicians: Thom Evans and Reuben Presnky (percussion), Greg Valou (bass etc.) and Ingrid Cheung (flute & vocals), along with Amir & Chloe doing what they always do! Please try to give $20 at the door if you can, or any other amount that is manageable.
